Lovely

The cottage was lovely and clean. The gardens were also tidy and easy to admire. The kitchen had everything you'd have at home, and the town was only a short stroll down the road. Evendale has a market every weekend, which is only a 5-minute walk from the cottage, which offers a lot of home made craft's and condiments. It's definitely worth checking out.

The furniture is old and stained, and there is only a 2 seater futon couch in the living room. It was not great if you were hosting more than a couple. The first night we stayed, one of the rooms had load scratching sounds coming from under the floor boards, beneath the bed. Not a lot of sleep had that night. Tried investigating the next morning but found nothing.

The house was lovely, and the garden. Very old country style. Air conditioning worked well.

Being an old house there were many uneven floors. This was a problem with the bed and toilets. The bed felt like it had the bottom raised. The step to the toilet was unexpected as it was the same colour as the carpet. A trip hazard. No dryer. Would not be able to do a large amount of washing.
