Rat-infested property is disgusting and should be removed from Booking.com

This house is not rentable. There are rats, piles of hair and dust under all the furniture and the property owner did nothing to resolve our concerns.

− We were extremely disappointed with this property. We saw a rat run across the kitchen floor. We immediately contacted the property manager, who told us they would send maintenance over. No one ever came. As we spent more time in the house, the problems became even more apparent. There was approximately half an inch of accumulated dirt, dust, and hair under the furniture, suggesting it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. The odor throughout the property was unpleasant and persistent. The upstairs floors felt so soft and unstable that we genuinely questioned their safety. Both the dishwasher and the microwave were not functioning. What makes this especially frustrating is that before booking, I specifically contacted the property because previous reviews had raised similar concerns. I was assured that those issues had been addressed and resolved. Unfortunately, that was simply not our experience. This property is not in a condition that should be rented to guests. Beyond the cleanliness issues, the presence of rodents and the lack of response after reporting it are unacceptable. We left feeling that the listing did not accurately represent the condition of the property and that our concerns were not taken seriously.

Good location, close to the city centre.

− Didn’t look very clean inside. Dishes left drying and dirty dishes in the dish washer which we couldn’t get to work. Outside area at the front door very untidy and not inviting.
