Lovely location, traditional house but needs better management
6.0Lovely location. Beautiful waterfall within a few minutes walk. House had lots of space and was very clean.
− We arrived at 11pm and the front entrance including steps and walkway was pitch black. The handrail on the steps was covered in splinters. Thankfully we had a torch with us. Beds were not made so we had to do it ourselves. 2 x lights not working so 1 bedroom was in darkness. We had to swap bulbs around from a lamp in order to see anything. Landing light was in darkness the whole stay. TV not working for the whole stay. For a winter visit I can imagine that the house would be nice and cosy. In August the bedrooms were very hot. This combined with a fairly noisy road sadly meant not very good sleep.
