7.0Der Vermieter ist um guten Kontakt bemüht. Grundlegend macht die Wohnung einen guten Eindruck und war soweit sauber. Die Einrichtungsgegenstände sind einfach gehalten. Es könnte noch eine zusätzliche gemütliche Sitzgelegenheit im Wohnzimmer vorhanden sein. Für 4 Erwachsene ist das Sofa zu klein. Positiv: Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren in einem sehr guten Zustand.
− Das Waschbecken ist beschädigt, das Silikon im Bad sieht nicht mehr so toll aus. Die Wände in den Zimmern sind an einigen Stellen beschmutzt, die Fenster sind von außen stark schmutzig und könnten einen Anstrich vertragen, Der Esstisch und die Küchenarbeitsplatte hatte noch Spuren vom Vormieter. Der Kühlschrank ist ständig nass innen. (Vllt schließt die Tür nicht richtig) Der Wasserkocher musste von uns entkalkt werden, das Wasser kochte nicht mehr. Der Wasserauslauf am Waschbecken müsste auch bald entkalkt werden. Der Wasserhahn an der Spüle ist locker und die Steckdose für den Fön im Bad ist auch locker.

8.0The apartment is spacious, with an excellent and very well-equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and the location is unbeatable—Altstätten is a beautiful town, well connected to the region and close to Austria and Liechtenstein. The apartment was also very clean, which gave us peace of mind after seeing previous reviews.
− The deposit system was unusual and uncomfortable, with money being held from the credit card weeks before arrival and days after departure. The bedrooms were poorly furnished, with only the basics (beds and open wardrobes), no extra pillows or blankets, and no air conditioning or fans—during a heatwave, this made sleeping very difficult. Only one TV in the living room with local channels. Access to the apartment was through narrow wooden stairs outside the unit, which creaked a lot. The host’s communication started friendly but later felt cold and unhelpful, even avoiding questions about waste disposal and recycling. Small details like having to buy government-certified trash bags and even toilet paper for the stay were inconvenient.
It was okay not bad in genral. And communication with the owner very difficult as he doesn’t know english.
