1.0The location was good, but the property was uninhabitable due to mice infestation.
− Unfortunately, our stay in the chalet was significantly affected by infestation of mice, and rather than being a break, turned into a stressful experience we were relieved to be over. In the three days we were there, we caught and removed from the property 4 mice, there were more running downstairs and upstairs (at some point three behind the fireplace), and even during the day. Disappointingly, the owners were very unhelpful-they suggested to take mice traps out from their storage room and catch the mice ourselves (leaving the death mice to be disposed of by their staff). They also said that as the property is in the forest, this is to be expected, and is likely our fault as we might have left a door open. Given the unsanitary conditions, the property was certainly not in a condition suitable for guests.
Great luminous cottage, great place with lots to do around!
