4 adults & two dogs - a wonderful birthday weekend!

Host is very warm and friendly - just bear in mind communication is in German only (nothing Google translate cannot fix!) Perfect location (five minute walk to the promenade, 5-10 minute walk round the corner from supermarkets etc) - street parking (first come first serve) + garage for those who don’t have a 4x4!. Also, dog friendly. Pictures could do with being updated as they do not do the apartment justice! It is a lot bigger than the pictures suggest. An older fashion decor (see pics) which we did not mind at all as very clean and comfortable + well equipped kitchen and bathroom (coffee pods & machine, towels, cleaning products etc) Apartment has three bedrooms (one double, one double that is made up of two single beds and one single bed room) two large balconies, two bathrooms one with shower and one with a corner bath - plenty of areas to sit and dine (large outdoor table, kitchen bar stools x4 + indoor table and two large sofas - perfect for two couples or a family. There is plenty of bed linen and towels in the apartment.

Great flat (ok furniture, beddings and towels could be more modern) but everything good quality but oldfashioned style.

Property manager is responsive and accommodating (thank you Ursi!). the apartment is huge (3 bedrooms) and has everything you need for a short or longer stay including washing facilities. location is awesome; only a 2 min walk from the pedestrian area in Ascona and less than five minutes to the bus stop. beds were comfy and Ursi left us plenty of towels, tea towels etc.

− pillows a bit flat but that’s typical in Switzerland. furnishing in flat is a bit dated but honestly, it’s so well equipped and comfortable that who cares about the decor
