− Poorly arranged apartment and contempt from the owner If you don't like unpleasant surprises, don't rent this apartment! Bad surprise 1: closed door and no one to welcome us when we arrived. However, we called at 7 p.m. to say that we would arrive at 7:30 p.m. The lady told us “no problem” but she arrived at 8 p.m. It is very unpleasant to wait outside in the cold, especially after a tiring day of travel. Bad surprise 2: the 3rd bedroom is not a bedroom but a converted attic where there is no air: it's complicated to sleep there. To access, you have to go through a staircase installed in another room: no privacy! Bad surprise 3: for almost 2 months we have still been waiting for our invoice, despite numerous reminders. The lady replied “OK yes yes”. What contempt: we came to Nuremberg for a business travel, not for holiday. We were friendly, respected the place, remained discreet and nothing was broken. Conversely, the attitude of the owner is not respectable.

The Apartment is at a beautiful location. It is easy to reach from the high way and close to Nurnberg to visit the Messe. The host is very friendly.

The landlord was very warm and welcoming, which is especially important during the cold German winter! She recommended many nearby restaurants, breakfast cafés, and shopping centers. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. We only used two rooms, but in fact, this apartment is perfect for a family with 2-3 children. When we booked, we transferred a **€250** deposit to the landlord via bank transfer. After we checked out, we received the refund within **1-2 days** (also via bank transfer).

Nice large space, comfortable. I found the 'main' double bed very low... but I'm an old man! Good kitchen which is well equipped. Easy key access. Quiet with nice big windows on the living room, but no window coverings, but you're too high up to be overlooked. It was warm enough and easy to control the heating. Host left me alone for the stay which is how I like it. Plenty of towels and the place had been cleaned well and beds all prepared before my arrival. I generally used 4G/5G over VPN rather than the rather slow internet provided. I was in the area for work, and the place was great to come back to, except for the notes below. I received a message after booking asking for a deposit to be paid, which I queried, and was told it didn't apply to my stay (why send it then??). I would come back to stay here for a longer period in future, and I'll take some pictures of the place. By the way, the coffee machine is Senseo, so bring some pads, as I don't think there were any provided, there's tea bags though.

Host initially kindly offered me charging for the rented plug-in hybrid, then parked a car in front of the socket for the rest of my stay. Probably a misunderstanding as I said I didn't require it at the time she asked... LOTS of 'rules' in a (badly translated) booklet and a number of notices around the place. Made it feel more like AirBnB than an apartment. Curiously, there was no plug in the bath, so you can't use it... shower is small. The apartment is up several flights of stairs, although on the door it says it's the first floor, it's actually second.
