10.0Our hosts are a magnificent combination of friendliness and competence. They ensured our comfort and nurtured the place, the gardens, and their guests. Breakfasts were generous. Location is very convenient to all of Todtmoos and surrounding Schwarzwald.

Proper, basic lodging, somewhat expensive
8.0Staff is quite friendly. The guesthouse itself is centrally located, well maintained. Close to some of the easier hikes. Our 2nd floor rooms had balconies.
− You can't pay using your debit or credit card. It's cash or wiring in advance. The guesthouse is somewhat overpriced vs what is available elsewhere (4 star full fledged hotels vs this 3 star guesthouse) in Schwarzwald. Our rooms did not have blinds at every window: this means in summertime you wake up early.

9.0Wonderful hostess, looked after us really well. Guest house in surberb postion for visiting the south of the Black Forest.
