Would definitely stay again if back in Kiel
9.0The owners greeted me in person and were very relaxed and welcoming, explaining everything in detail and offering quick communication throughout my stay. They were also flexible with the check-out time, which I really appreciated. The studio is above their atelier: safe, bright, and really nice and quiet for a city-centre location. I loved the kitchen facilities and the high-quality coffee machine, which provided excellent coffee throughout my stay. The sofa bed was comfortable (the pillows less so), and the pallet stove, though requiring a bit of effort, was a lovely touch, especially when returning to a warm fire. The terrace was a great spot to relax, even though I didn’t use it as much as I’d hoped due to the cold weather.
− For my week long stay I missed some more cleaning facilities (ie a broom, a wiping sponge), some toiletries in the bathroom and maybe a washing machine (even though I noticed a washing centre nearby). Also, a couple more pillows and a mattress cover would have been helpful.
