We were met on our arrival, and our host was very understanding about our delayed arrival (car issues in transit), despite being evening rather than the planned mid-afternoon. Everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming, from late arrival through to ensuring the pool was available for use. The flat was lovely - a small lounge/kitchen, but well equipped, with enough dishes that we only needed to wash up once a day rather than after every meal (a bonus with kids). The balcony was particularly good, with a hammock and outside dining table with views across the valley, and doubled the living space. The only problem was that it was possible to accidentally lock yourself outside - something to watch with kids! The swimming pool was great for splashing in with kids, and our two (5 and 3) loved the outside play area and indoor playroom (and didn't want to leave the toys at the end of our stay...). With temperatures around 25-30 the fans, adjustable windows and deep overhang on the roof kept rooms reasonably cool (much better than UK architecture for heat). Everything was spotlessly clean and beds were large and very comfortable. There were a wide variety of things to do within a 30-60m driving radius of the location, across great roads. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

− Slightly scary moment when our five year old locked the rest of us out on the second floor balcony! But that's a "be aware" note, not a criticism of the flat.

Super verblijf

Super vriendelijk personeel, en mooi appartement. Alles lag super netjes en hygiënisch. In de keuken was alles voorzien (keukenhanddoek, sponsjes, afwasmiddel, broodrooster, koffiezetapparaat,…) Ook het zwembad was een pluspunt met het warme weer dat we hadden, heerlijk rustige plek om te genieten van de natuur! Ik raad deze woning 100% aan!

We loved everything about this apartment. We really enjoyed every moment from dinners in a balcony with perfect Schwarzwald view , to playing room for our kids. We were very lucky with the weather to enjoy everyday the pool. The location was also very good to visit nice places. A lot of things to do with the kids.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in dieser Ferienwohnung und es war wieder einfach super. Die Wohnung bietet sehr viel Platz, ist voll ausgestattet und hat eine schöne große Terrasse. Für Kinder ist es ideal: ein toller Spielraum voller Spielzeug sowie draußen ein Spielplatz mit kleinem Schwimmbad und wunderschönem Blick. Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt: ca. 10 Minuten zum Titisee und etwa 30 Minuten nach Freiburg, zum Schluchsee und zum Feldberg. Die ganze Familie war begeistert. Die Gastgeber sind super nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr wieder gebucht!
