Ontvangst door de host gebeurde op een heel vriendelijke en openhartige manier. We waren wel 2 u vroeger dan medegedeeld aan Cosima (onze schuld) maar het appartement was snel in orde en beschikbaar. Het appartement situeert zich op de bovenste verdieping, is ruim en heeft alle nodige voorzieningen en mogelijkheden. De bedden zijn prima. De badkamer is proper en zeer goed in orde. Een kleine maar gerieflijke keuken, een gezellige woonkamer. Kortom, een ideaal verblijf voor bijv 1 week. Cosima is een ideale host, heel spontaan en behulpzaam. In de gebouwen heeft de host een juwelenzaak; aanrader voor de dames..... Het gebouw ligt langs een doorgangsweg maar je hebt in het appartement geen last van de passerende wagens. Parkeren kan in een zijstraat. Inkopen kan je doen in warenhuizen op enkele kilometers afstand in o.m. het dorp Rudesheim. Vanuit Weinsheim kan je makkelijk de streek verkennen, zeker om te wandelen/fietsen. In het dorp zijn er zelfs 2 mooie wandelparcours. Een eventuele wijnproeverij kan bij één van de lokale wijnboeren. Wij hadden een bezoek bij de familie Weyl, wat prima was, goeie wijnen. Voor een rustige vakantie is dit appartement een goed vertrekpunt; zeker een aanrader !
