Lovely beach front apartment
9.0Location was excellent, large apartment,large enough for to move one of the single beds into the living room, close to e everything, amazing views, would definitely stay again.
− Air con unit on the balcony was noisy and disturbed the person in the twin room. Could do with black out blinds in the living room, sometimes it's nice to block the sun out if you want a snooze. But would still stay again

We loved our stay in Stiges and we loved the apartment.

2.0− The kitchen, dining room, living room, and hallway flooded on our first night in the apartment starting at approx. 11:30 pm. We contacted Carol the manager immediately by message and telephone but she did not respond. Water was pouring in for about 20 mins covering the 1/2 of the apartment floor. My 2 daughters and I were frantic and didn’t know what to do. Thankfully we were able to wake a neighbour who kindly provided us with extra mops, squeegee, and towels. My daughters and I spent about 1.5 hours mopping up the floors which had about 1-2 inches of water on them. We moved furniture so it wouldn’t get ruined. The neighbour called Carol who answered for him and she said she would send someone in the morning. I was flabbergasted that she left us to deal with the flood on our own. I was awake for the rest of the night monitoring the drain pipe for additional flooding. Carol never did come to the apartment. Upon my request, she did send a cleaner to disinfect the floors the next morning as I was worried about possible sanitation concerns and she said a drain technician came the next day. However, upon looking at the baseboards and wood near the floor, it’s obvious that flooding is likely a regular occurrence at this apartment. She should not have left myself and 2 daughters on our own to deal with this situation and flood clean up no matter what time of day or night.
