Luxury one bed Apartment♡

The apartment was in a great location (although a little hard to find). Close to supermarket, pub, food places. The apartment was modern (bathroom aside) and the decor was nice. The kitchen had everyrhing we needed. Some people had commented on the noise from the pub next door but other than the world Cup games we didnt hear anything. The owner was very helpful with giving us directions when we arrived and had I had data, the instructions were sent via booking. Carterton itself was a great fpr gettomg around the Cotswolds.

− The bathroom was the reason I gave a lower score. Its was usable and clean but just not up to the standard of the rest of the apartment. The shower was at the wrong end if the bath in my opinion. It wet the tile shelf and this was the only place to keep towels and toilet roll. The pressure of the shower was a bit low and the 2 separate taps were tricky to get the right temp. The discoloured shower curtain wasn't great and was too short for the bath. The sink taps were very close to the sink and separate so either wash your hands in cold water or scorching water. I will say the bathroom was fine and usable, it just didnt match the high standard of the rest of the apartment.

Easy to access and great spot for a base around the Cotswold area

It was situated in Carterton

− The bed was not very comfortable and was very low to the ground....not easy to get up from without assistance. It wasn't particularly comfortable either and I had back ache each morning. The bathroom had a deep bath which was not easy to get in and out of. The shower was a small hand shower fixed high up on the wall. There was not a hand rail of any kind to assist getting in and out. I found my daily shower to be the most difficult part of my day. I am 75 but expected a "Luxury" apartment to be little more easy to use. There was no toilet roll holder in the room so we used the bin because neither of us could reach behind us whilst using the loo. The sofa in the lounge was well used and when you sat down your bottom was lower than your knees, so again not very comfortable. The hob was in good condition but I thought the oven was not overly clean. The fridge was OK and the washing machine worked OK. There are only 3 windows in the apartment all of which are south facing, so the heat was difficult to deal with . There was a fan but it didn't provide enough in the was of cooling. We were very fortunate to be able the change our sailing date home to8 Spain and we we left on 25th June, 16 days earlier than anticipated.

Good access to parking and supermarkets. Easy drive to Cotswold towns. Host responded quickly to problems with lights. Nice light apartment with well equipped kitchen.

− Apartment was a bit warm for me. Slept with window open but it was very noisy the last 2 nights with people shouting until gone 2am.

Lovely clean and central property.
