It is in the High Street - local butchers opposite, greengrocer nearby and coop around the corner Convenient for the local bus (231 or X310 from Chippenham to Bath - regular service all week Kitchen has microwave, toaster, kettle, oven - pots and pans

− Entrance can be off putting and not welcoming but that is an issue with the management committee to deal with in the block of flats

I liked the location . The flat was ok. But the furniture looked tired and could have been updated.

− The TV was in a foreign language. The only channel i could use was youtube. There was no tea or coffee available. The whole place looked worn out.

− It was very cold. The electric storage heaters do not work effectively and even with the two bar fire running it was still very cold - not helped by the single glazed windows. No hot water pressure - water trickled out of the taps.

I really enjoyed staying here , It's in the centre of Corsham which is very quiet at night. The storage heating kept the flat reasonably warm, especially the bedroom. The large sized lounge had plenty of seating options so you could relax while watching the large TV in comfort. Carpeted throughout ( bar the kitchen) If (when) I feel the need to get out of Bath again 🤔 I would stay here again.👍

− The TV in the bedroom had no signal, missing the aerial lead I think??

Great location for walking

I have stayed at Alexandra house previously for walking festivals (held in June each year) and was joining them for a Walk 2 Remember to put poppies on war commonwealth graves prior to remembrance Sunday in November The Flat is in central location and in November 2025 I was in Flat 5 - you can arrive when it is convenient as entrance is made by key safe and a code - normally after 2 and leave by 10.30 on day of departure - the flats is convenient for pubs, shops, car park (fees apply for more than 2 hours), swimming pool bus stops (buses to and from Bath and Chippenham and made great with the current £3 bus scheme for those who do not have bus passes!! this scheme is due to end December 2025 and what the government is going to do is anyone's guess!!) Bus company is Faresaver and the bus number is 231 and X31 Great area for walking, there is the Pound Centre which has various events on and a good variety. Corsham court is near by and also the peacocks are a good attraction Good variety of local shops

− There were a couple of issues that I have raised with Alex under separate cover and I hope that these will be sorted out Time went by too quickly
