− Noise from main house. I was woken by snoring one night! As others have said very loud toilet and poor communication. I was told someone would give me the keys but no one answered so had to find number and ring to be told they were in a lockbox. A text would have made it much easier.

Great value and a comfortable independent studio

I've stayed at this property several times throughout the year, and it has consistently been a great choice. It's perfectly located for anyone travelling by car, with secure private parking on the property. It was only a 15-minute drive from the university where I was working, making it extremely convenient. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. They handed me the keys during my first stay and, for all my subsequent visits, simply left the studio open for me, which made late arrivals completely hassle-free. The studio has always been impeccably clean, and the bathroom deserves a special mention: it's modern, stylish, and spotless. As I mentioned in one of my previous reviews, the only minor drawback is that the studio is located beneath the owner's apartment. This means it can sometimes be a little noisy in the morning, particularly when the children are getting ready for school or playing upstairs, so waking up can occasionally be a rather lively experience. Other than that, I've never had any issues. The studio is fully independent, comfortable, and offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for convenient and affordable accommodation.

Very clean and room was very nice and warm! Loads of blankets and kitchen appliances (fridge, oven, microwave and sink). Hostess was very friendly and helpful

The place is fully equipped - the kitchenette has everything you might need to cook a proper dinner - with a table that is also perfect for working if you need to. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is spotlessly clean and super modern. A special mention for the parking: the host provides secure private parking inside the property, which is a plus. Finally: property was very clean, this is definitely an excellent point

− There are two points worth mentioning. First, unfortunately the srudio is not soundproof, and noises from the main house can be heard quite clearly. There are children in the house and, as you can imagine, children can be lively, so some background noise is to be expected. Second, the toilet flush is very, very loud. Personally, this didn’t bother me, but I noticed in other reviews that some guests were hesitant to use it at night for fear of waking others. This being said, the property is excellent.

Unassuming from the outside, but the flat was surprisingly lovely and modern inside! Very well designed and kitted out with a comfy bed.

− Communication was concerningly poor. I originally booked a different flat, but the host cancelled it (double booking). He offered a swap or a refund, I said yes to a swap and he didn't reply to that or my follow up message. I got the automatic "enjoy your stay" message the day before arrival and nothing else. It was disconcerting not knowing if my booking was confirmed.
