8.0Lovely friendly owners, generous cake, bread and eggs etc. Very clean amd well appointed.
− Location turned out to be quite noisy as we had windows open as it was hot and there was loud music in the pub opposite and endless motorbikes roaring past all day Sunday.
Great spot and nice to meet the friendly hosts.

Great stay in a wonderfully quirky apartment
9.0We thoroughly enjoyed our short break visiting places we have often driven past, on the way to the North East, but never stopped to view. This is a wonderfully quirky well designed apartment providing an excellent and comfortable base for our visit. Added to that was brilliant hospitality from a charming couple. We enjoyed some gentle town and country walks in Kirkby Stephen, Brough Castle (with fabulous ice cream) Barnard Castle and Appleby. Achieved an ambition to get some fantastic fish and chips in Kirkby Stephen and was generally able to relax. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
