We loved our stay here. It was relaxed and peaceful and good value. We could walk across the highway and down into Penzance and there’s also a lovely walk to Mousel. Our accommodation was attached to the main house and there are a couple of other cottages but there’s plenty of space and privacy. It was Gerry who made the stay exceptional- she was so kind and thoughtful and offered us a blanket and cushions for our trip to the Minack theatre (go if you can, it was amazing!)

Gerry was absolutely fantastic, super friendly and welcoming! The bedroom contained a double bed and a single bed, both very comfy. There was an outdoor patio area where you can sit in the morning to have coffee etc, and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was clean and tidy with good water pressure. The location was wonderful, situated on a working vineyard so you didn't have far to go after a tour and tasting. It was also a short drive away from big supermarkets, and within 20mins walk of Penzance town centre. It was a great location to base our activities around West Cornwall! Added bonus: there is a super friendly cat on the premises, but never went inside the annex itself.

− The annex can be a little stuffy during the hot weather, so we suggest bringing a fan. Otherwise, absolutely no complaints!

What an absolute find this was! The keys were in the door when I arrived and the lovely Gerry came to say hello almost immediately. Parking was private and easy to find and there is the added bonus of a bar on site which also does food (I was out and about nearly all the time so didn't get a chance to try it but it looked awesome!) The annexe itself is perfectly self contained especially for a solo traveller - everything I needed was there. Comfy bed (LOVED the lamp shade in the bedroom!), fabulously strong shower, all kitchen appliances and tools! The outdoor seating area catches the early afternoon sun (bonus cat for stroking too). Location wise this was the perfect base for what I needed - everything within a short car journey: Minack Theatre, Hayle, St Erth, St Ives (recommend St Nicholas Chapel for sunset and Dolly Ps for Seal Island trip), Mousehole, Marazion and St Michael's Mount. Penzance. Will definitely come back - next time I'll make time to properly experience the vineyard, bar and restaurant!

The perfect base for exploring the area, with a friendly host on hand to provide additional information if needed. Plenty to see and do locally. A visit to St. Michael's Mount or a day trip to the Scilly Isles is highly recommended. There are also no shortage of walks nearby offering an opportunity to explore Cornwall's diverse landscape and industrial heritage.

Great location for the places we wanted to see. Lovely self catering option.

Keys were in the door ready. Gerry welcomed us and brought me extra blanket, much needed!

− Need to provide a dishcloth and tea towel please. Yellow towels very thin and small for someone my size! Enormous cobweb above single bed.
