We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Laundry Cottage and couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. The cottage was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail throughout the property was exceptional, making it feel like a true home away from home. The location was perfect—peaceful and picturesque, with stunning surroundings and plenty to explore nearby. We especially loved spending time in the tranquil setting and enjoying the beautiful views. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, ensuring that everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. Their hospitality really made our stay extra special. Laundry Cottage exceeded all our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The set up of the property was immaculate. Very beautiful property, family friendly, hot tub was a great touch. We would definitely be visiting again.

Fabulous stay at Laundry Cottage for our adult family and dog.

Beautiful and perfect location in the grounds of Drumlanrig Castle. Very quiet and secluded. Amazing walks with the dog without using the car. Very high spec inside the cottage with comfy beds, cosy quilts and luxury bathrooms. The hot tub was fantastic too after our long walks. Wouldn't hesitate on booking again.

− Could have done with extra 'beach type' towels for using the hot tub rather than our bath towels. Very difficult to dry them as wasn't cold enough to turn on the central heating. Some hooks for the towels on the wooden pillars next to the hot tub would have been ideal. Also some kind of manual, retractable roof cover over the hot tub so we could use it whilst raining! We made do with 4 golf umbrellas! A few of the windows were very stiff to open and close. Maybe just need some WD40?

Clean, spacious beautiful setting.

− Not enough comfortable chairs in sitting area in lounge for 6 people. Jacuzzi only cleaned once in 4 day stay.

Lovely, peaceful surroundings - the hot tub was a particular favourite with our teenagers and we all loved the outside dining space within the private garden. Our dog enjoyed the wonderful woodland walks in the Palace grounds too! The house itself is spacious, luxurious and very clean with every amenity you could want on a family break.
