Nice property, would stay again but could be perfect with a few tweaks
7.0Flat was in a great location for Bakewell and proximity to the Monsal trail and having the cafe so close was great. Apartment was a good size for a short stay.
− Building work was going on next door while we were staying which was noisy (and we hadn't been prewarned). While there is parking available, on a busy Saturday/Sunday getting a space was a challenge. The kitchen light was on a motion activated sensor and kept randomly going on during the night, which woke up the person sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room (as no door between kitchen and living room). There was no info about what to do with bins etc on leaving.

7.0Great location for the Monsal Trail - didn’t need car for 5 days! Also good location for Hassop Station cafe.
− Location - it’s right next to a very busy A road with lots of early morning lorry traffic and no secondary glazing on sash windows. Kitchen is not well equipped - no scales, measuring jug, scissors, sharp knives. Fridge had a load of out of date milk sachets in it. Shower hose hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and loads of black gunk on it. Apartment needed a good clean/dust as well.

8.0I loved our stay here and would return if I could. Having a cafe onsite was a bonus for our morning coffee and being right on the Monsal trail was perfect. We hired bikes from the onsite rental.
− The mattress has seen better days, slopes to one side and is time to replace. Our bedroom window was right on the road so the traffic noise, which I'm not used to I found disturbing.
