8.0This little place was is a good area to explore Marlow. We regularly come to Marlow as my friend stays nearby it is a great place withheld shops and restaurants. The Duke pub has a chinese in it which is amazing. The Oak Tree had everything we needed. It is in a quiet area but close enough to everything you need. Was really useful having a washing machine as well. Good fridge freezer. Bed was comfy. Very responsive hosts when we had a few questions.
− We didn't realise until we got there that the sloped ceilings are as low as they were near where you stand. It can be quite dangerous as its sometimes hard to see when it's low. My partner and I are not tall at all and both banged our heads multiple times. I think the layout and use of space could be better used. It's a good stop off for a few days, but not longer than that as it's not somewhere you can really lounge as the couch is low and extremely uncomfortable. And the TV is in a difficult place to see. Also when I went to get a mug/glass the shelf was really dirty and, cobwebs and crumbs under the toaster. Looked like the cleaner hadn't cleaned it for ages.
