A very special place
10.0This was a wonderful place to stay. I would score everything about it 10++ as it was such a pleasure to spend time in this beautiful apartment. It looks directly over the sea and the sound of the waves is a soothing and relaxing backdrop to time spent on the large balcony that extends around the outside of impeccably furnished main room. A daily swim directly from the house is a must as well as heading to nearby beaches to enjoy a drink at one of the several beach bars. The apartment is immaculate and very well set up with generous supplies of cooking, cleaning and washing equipment as well as very comfortable bedding and furniture. The little seaside town of Platamon has lots of restaurants and shops (all very close to the apartment) and it is a great base for trips to Dion (30 minute away) ancient site and Mt Olympus. Wherever you choose to go, be sure that the best ever Booking.com hostess, Celia, will go out of her way to provide thoughtful ideas and recommendations. All of her communications were so helpful and caring; her tip for a waterside Taverna in Litochoro was a highlight; it was so beautifully located - and excellent food; we would never have discovered it without the wonderful Celia. And thanks too to her husband George, who came to meet us with huge smiles, care and a bottle of wine, after I had changed our check-in slot three times. A real find. Highly recommended.

10.0Celia and George are very kind and hospitable hosts. Their local recommendations made our trip a memorable one. The apartment is spacious, cozy, and equipped with everything you might need. We enjoyed the peaceful beachfront location, the soothing sound of waves, the terrace with a mesmerizing view, the complimentary products and services and much, much more. If this property is within your budget, look no further as you have found the best place to call home.
