The host was amazing. He offered to pick us up from the airport and take us back to the airport on the day of our departure. He also sent us recommendations for places to visit, beaches, restaurants, and a car rental company. The apartment is close to the airport. From the balcony, you can watch planes taking off and landing, but once the balcony doors are closed, there is no noise. The morning sun doesn’t shine directly onto the balcony, so you can peacefully enjoy a morning coffee there. The apartment has all the essentials, including air conditioning. The city centre and the Old Town are about a 30-minute slow walk away. The apartment is located in a less populated area, so the walk back at night is not very convenient, but it is definitely manageable. Overall, it is a very good place to stay!

Exceptional Hospitality and a Perfect Base to Explore Corfu

We returned to City Design Residence not only because of the apartment itself, but especially because of its outstanding host, Andreas. Throughout our travels, we have rarely encountered such genuine hospitality and dedication. Andreas is far more than a host – he is a true ambassador of Corfu. His recommendations on the best beaches, restaurants and places to visit, tailored to every taste, were invaluable. He was always available, eager to help and genuinely committed to making sure we had the best possible experience on the island. The apartment is spacious, modern, very well equipped and, most importantly, spotlessly clean. A major advantage is the private parking space, something that is truly rare and extremely valuable in Corfu Town. The view towards the airport runway is also a unique bonus, adding to the holiday atmosphere and reminding you that another adventure is always about to begin. The area is peaceful, especially at night, allowing us to rest perfectly after long days exploring the island. The property is ideal for solo travellers, couples and families alike. We visit Corfu regularly and have come to realize that experiencing the real beauty of the island often depends on the people you meet. Without the advice, local knowledge and dedication of a host like Andreas, visitors may leave with only a partial understanding of what Corfu truly has to offer. His passion for the island and willingness to go above and beyond for his guests make all the difference.
