The apartment looks just like the photos, lovely inside and very clean. Kitchen is well equipped, all electrical goods were high quality brands, fantastic large fridge-freezer. Beds comfortable. The pool was large, about a third of it was very shallow, too shallow to swim in so would be good for small children. Plenty of towels and handwash. There are 4 good quality sunbeds and umbrella for sole use of this apartment and beach towels supplied. The location is perfect, 5 minute walk to a lovely bay where you can pay for sunbeds from Kalamaki restaurant and they bring drinks and food to the beach for you. There are lots of great restaurants near the bay, a little further walk is Piato restaurant which we highly recommend. The no.21 bus takes you to Chania which is definitely worth a visit, buy tickets (1.50 each) from the little stall by the bay. Alexandra was really good to let us stay longer on our last day as we had a later flight, this was much appreciated.

− The bathroom is very small and could do with updating but this is evident from the photos. We knew the bedrooms did not have air con, but whilst the main bedroom has a ceiling fan but the smaller room doesn’t so we had to ask for a fan as my daughter was very hot overnight, Alexandra delivered this the next day which helped. We did not realise until we arrived that this apartment is the only one of the 12 in the block that is let to holiday makers, so the other 11 are residents who would say hello as they passed. We were not aware that quiet time is 3pm-5.30pm and 11pm–7am at the apartment so we spent a lot of time at the beach.
