The location was absolutely perfect - sweeping views over the bay and a few minutes to walk to the restaurants, shops and sea front for a swim. Cannot rate the location highly enough (unless you can't manage stairs - if so - this property isn't for you). The property itself was beautiful - a very old property updated tastefully inside with all the things you need to sleep, cook, and relax. Lots of storage for clothes and two decent sized bathrooms. The patio area was large with lots of different areas to eat/sunbathe/chill. All beautifully maintained including lots of trees and flowers which is impressive as it was summer and really hot. The outdoor utility room has a washing machine and all necessary cleaning equipment plus a clothes drier up on the top part of the roof. Rupert was an amazing host - taking time to meet us and show us around the house plus took us on a tour of town, pointing out the best tour companies and restaurants etc. Breakfast was included as part of my Genius membership of Booking.com. This was in the form of vouchers for a local hotel which we didn't use as we had just spent the week before at a hotel near Zadar and were looking forward to breakfasting alone. Its also a walk across town - only 5-10m but enough to put us off. The supermarkets are well-stocked and have some great fruit and veg and fresh breads. There are some lovely cafes and restaurants in Hvar - choosing which to go to will be the only challenge for you! The wine in Croatia was amazing - can highly recommend always ordering the local bottle.

− We went at a very busy time of year and are looking forward to returning in spring/autumn. It is an expensive place to eat out and go for a drink but it is such a beautiful place you wont regret it!

Fantastic appartement in the center of Hvar

The appartement was fantastic. Great views of the sea, decorated elegantly and with a lovely private garden that we used for breakfast and dinner. Good facilities (with pods ect made available), towels, netflix, all very clean and comfortable. It is as central to hvar as can be and when you go down the steps, you are at the local beach point. Host very nice too and helpful.

Excellent location. Very clean. Wonderful outside space. Lovely conversion of an old property which retained its character. Stunning sea views. Great communication from owner.

− A lot of stairs to get to the property - fine for us but not good if unfit or elderly.

Very well located Villa

The location was lovely, close to the old town and an easy walk to beaches. It was great having the laundry as we are on a month family trip. The host was extremely helpful and showed us around the town after check in. We appreciated this.

− We thought perhaps the kitchen needed a few more utensils. We liked to cook some evenings at the Villa when the children were tired. Note as were travelling for a month we had 4 heavy suitcases so be aware of this and the stairs to the villa.

Old Town Location, superb water views, close to everything, tranquil, very calming decor, communication with host was excellent, superb outside patio, excellent amenities
