8.0A great place to “disconnect” while still in the center of everything. The hosts were exceptional- kind and welcoming. A special touch of fresh baked bread, and a milk jug in the fridge immediately makes you feel at home. I took the room as a solo retreat from the bustle of summer vacation at home. It was perfect for me- very clean; aesthetically pleasing, calm environment, and a ten minute commute to work. I recommend it to locals and foreigners alike. The standards are international, it’s not pretentious, and the amenities are practical and well thought out. The cleanliness was obvious.
− There are stairs leading down to the house, so not suitable for guests with disabilities. The shower/toilet is quite small. The bedroom doubles as the main house bomb shelter, so that your privacy is determined by circumstances. In addition, the ac flows into the bedroom through an open vent.?The unit is quite small, and being attached to the main house, you feel the need to keep quiet- especially if sitting in the garden at night if entertaining friends. When removing sheets ah the end of my stay (I believe it’s common courtesy to pile the laundry of towels and sheets when there is no maid service)- I noticed the pillows (not very comfortable) were deeply stained with age and use. They should be replaced. These limitations did not detrimentally affect my stay. There is an energy of peace and hospitality that compensate these minor shortcomings.

− You have to go down 10 steps so it is slightly below ground. Has windows up high in living area no windows in bedroom so not great for those who have difficulty with stairs or need a window in the bedroom. Not a problem for us.
