A charming base from which to explore the area.
9.0A very charming, stylishly decorated and spacious studio apartment with a secret garden and a nearby path that puts the Eden Project within an easy, half-hour walk. (We visited the area for an Eden sessions gig and were back at the apartment by foot well before many departees had boarded their buses from the venue.) The local station and bus stops are a short walk away as are the nearest pub and a small precinct that includes a supermarket for self-caterers. Extremely helpful hosts who offered to give us a lift from and back to the station.
− We found the mattress a bit soft but otherwise comfortable. May be helpful to leave a broom or dustpan and brush in the apartment and, possibly, a small ironing board.
