A Perfect Alpine Escape – We Couldn't Have Asked for More!
10.0We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mattertal Lodge and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Zermatt area. The apartment was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the views of the surrounding mountains were simply breathtaking. The location is perfect – peaceful and relaxing while still being an easy drive or train journey to Zermatt. It was the ideal base for hiking and exploring the beautiful Valais region. Our host was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. This is easily one of the best places we have stayed in Switzerland. We would not hesitate to return and will definitely recommend Mattertal Lodge to our friends and family in the UK. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

10.0Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, die Wohnung ist sehr modern und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Aussicht vom Bett aus ist fantastisch!! Die Klimaanlage ist auch sehr angenehm. Wir kommen sicher wieder!!

7.0Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Ortschaft ist ruhig und die Straße endet nach wenigen Häusern, sodass man viel Privatsphäre und Natur genießen kann. Wer schwindelfrei ist, wird sich hier besonders wohlfühlen. Die Wohnung hat auf den ersten Blick einen sehr guten Eindruck gemacht und war gut ausgestattet. Besonders positiv fanden wir den Kaffeevollautomaten mit bereitgestellten Bohnen sowie die kleine Terrasse und die Möglichkeit zu grillen. Insgesamt war alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt.
− Beim Außenbereich sehen wir noch etwas Potenzial. Der kleine Sitzbereich am Hang könnte durch Pflastersteine oder eine durchgängigere Gestaltung noch deutlich aufgewertet werden. Dadurch würde die Terrasse insgesamt einladender und hochwertiger wirken. Zudem wirkte die Böschung etwas brüchig. Die Wohnung wurde zwar renoviert, die Ausführung könnte stellenweise etwas hochwertiger sein. Der Kaffeevollautomat war eine schöne Idee, allerdings hat uns der Kaffee geschmacklich nicht überzeugt.
