Don’t stay here
1.0− I never write reviews, but I don’t want this property to scam someone else. I received a message from the apartment confirming through booking, with the message ending with a hotel name, which I found strange. We arrived at the apartment and there was no one there. I called the number listed on the booking page and a man answered, he gave the phone to a woman who said they don’t run apartments and had no idea what I was talking about, she gave me another number to call. I called the second number, a woman said she has nothing to do with apartment. I searched up the hotel name listed in the booking message and called them. The hotel said they don’t have apartments listed with booking. Then I received a text from a random number with a link telling me to book a room through there. The ORIGINAL number calls me back asking if I received the text and for me to book and pay through the website. I asked why I would pay again since I paid for this apartment. She said they don’t run that apartment, I asked her why their number was listed on the booking page, no response. I then said this felt like a scam and I was going to report this to booking and hung up. 4 minutes later, a man and woman ran into the lobby, sweating and out of breath offering to help us. A man let us in the room, but never asked for our passports (I’ve been to Italy multiple times and they HAVE to ask for them) and didn’t ask for the city tax. The next day, the power went out in the apartment, I called and texted (no answer). As of today, booking has called and emailed the property twice with no answer. Don’t stay here. Seems like they try to take advantage of tourists by stranding you to get money.
