9.0-Check in war sehr detailliert und wir durften wesentlich früher anreisen als ausgewiesen -sehr ruhige Gegend und recht abgelegen, so dass man nachts die Milchstraße bewundern konnte -man kann seine Wäsche kostenlos waschen, muss dafür aber zu einem anderen Haus, ca. 1, 5 Meilen weiter weg fahren. -Das Meer ist nicht weit weg - Der Volcanoe National Park ist nur ca. eine gute Stunde mit dem Auto entfernt ( 30$, ABER das Ticket gilt für 7 Tage, absolut fair!
− - Big Island ist groß, wie der Name schon sagt. Um von dem Apartment zu anderen Verbindungsstraßen zu gelangen, benötigt man schon 0,5h. Das sind jeden Tag 1h Fahrzeit, nur um in eine andere Richtung fahren zu können. Wir haben uns daher auf den Osten der Insel beschränkt. - die Mülltonnen waren stets voll, wir haben Teile unseres Mülls in öffentlich Mülltonnen entsorgt
