Très bon séjour : situation, accueil, prestations.

Superbe appartement très bien placé.

L’appartement est superbe et très bien placé ; le personnel aimable et accueillant. Pour les français, une mention particulière à Jean-Marc qui parle notre langue et a fait son possible pour rendre notre séjour agréable. La décoration et l’équipement sont de haut niveau.

− À part un lave-vaisselle capricieux pendant notre séjour (le problème est certainement réglé maintenant), rien à dire tout était bien.

− Obwohl beim Zahlungsvorgang über booking.com auch Diners-Kreditkarten akzeptiert wurden, hat die Unterkunft Diners verweigert. Und dies aber erst beim Check-in bekannt gegeben. Damit wurde die Zahlungsabwicklung erheblich ungewisser. In einem Schlafzimmer war die Lärmbelästigung aus dem Innenhof durch eine unsachgemäß, nachträglich eingebaute Klimaanlage spürbar.

The space and location

Loved our flat on Chancery Lane

Beautiful place to stay. Comfortable. Very posh looking. Right at the end of the lane making it easy for rideshare to pick up/drop off. No issues with ordering food/groceries to be delivered. Concierge was very helpful and polite. We will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we come to London as it is located in a spot fairly close to many things, touristy, shopping, groceries, etc. Really enjoyed our stay. Staff responded to issues right away.

− We did have 2 issues while there - shower in master bath was not draining. They sent someone up who poured 2 bottles of some drain cleaner in there and a few hours later, the drain now drains. We also couldn't figure out how to get the microwave to work and finally decided something was broken. After notifying the staff, they sent a technician up who obviously couldn't figure out what was wrong either, as they brought us a countertop microwave to use. So 2 issues were actually handled fairly quickly with no other problems.

We loved this place, and will come back soon.

Our host, Marc—a wonderfully warm, generous, and genuine gentleman—met us at this lovely spot in the heart of London. Due to an issue with the apartment we had originally booked, we were immediately upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment (Unit 1). It was huge and spacious, featuring three bedrooms, a bathtub, a kitchen, a living room, and everything we could have wished for—truly like a little palace. Chancery Lane is just minutes away from the West End theater district, where we saw "Mamma Mia," and a short walk from unique Covent Garden, with its charming streets, street carts, food, markets, famous brands, music, and joyful atmosphere. It is close to the Thames and actually not far from St. Paul’s, the Millennium Bridge, and the Tate Modern—just a walk in the park. We have found the perfect place for our family to enjoy a week in enchanting London with our new brother and friend, Marc. We are already looking forward to seeing both him and Chancery Lane again! − It would be both efficient and pleasant if communication were improved—especially via Booking.com. It seems likely that the email address being used is no longer active (post@...). Consequently, we received no responses to any of our questions—neither before, during, nor after our stay. The information sheet in the apartment also needs to be updated. However, we are confident that these issues can be resolved, and we would certainly like to return.
