I loved staying at this cozy, quiet and safe place situated by the beach.
9.0Location, coziness and cleanness
− The only but was the ongoing elevator construction. Otherwise, I had a great stay at the place. Ajay is an excellent host and the caretakers were friendly and helpful.
Disappointing
1.0The staff were the only highlights. Very friendly individuals.
− Our stay at this apartment in Mwanza was unfortunately marred by ongoing construction noise, contrary to our expectation of a peaceful retreat. Despite being assured it would last only two days due to a break-in incident, the disruptions persisted for our entire stay (5 days of none stop loud noise), accompanied by various other issues like a leaking washing machine, a burst water pipe, blocked shower drain and a gas cooker without gas. Our requests for a later start to construction were ignored (construction started at 8am, we requested for it to start at 9am/10am), making our five-night stay an unsatisfactory experience. On our last day the construction noise was so loud we couldn't even hear ourselves talk. We again asked for an hour break so we can have a moment to concentrate or even talk but the owner refused the request. The lack of consideration for guests and the disruption to our much-needed rest left us extremely disappointed and frustrated. This behaviour is indicative of the owner's character. I would never recommend anyone to stay at a place that thinks it's okay to treat paying customers this way.
