Appartement dans un lotissement des maisons victoriennes, dans un quartier très calme, mais proche de toutes les commodités, parcs, métro, etc. On a trouvé suffisamment café, sucre, thé, papier hygiénique , gel de douche et shampoings.

− J'étais surpris que le logement était au sous-sol, mais heureusement qu'il y avait des fenêtres et on avait un peu de lumière naturelle. On a été un peu gêné par les travaux de peinture de l'escalier. On n'avait pas des sac poubelles pour faire le tri sélectif.

The apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Even though it is located in the basement (below street level), it did not cause any issues – there was no noise as some previous guests had mentioned. The host was very kind and attentive – he contacted us after arrival to check if everything was okay and was available if we needed anything, which we really appreciated.

− The only downside was cigarette smoke coming into the bedroom through an unsealed door connecting the bedroom to the common areas (a neighbor was smoking there). The smell was quite noticeable. Cold air and light from the hallway were also coming through the door. We had to seal it ourselves temporarily. It’s a pity that this door is not properly insulated or removed, as otherwise the apartment would be excellent and the rating would definitely be higher.

Basement flat. Fabulous location alone makes up for some disappointments.

The location was amazing. Good attitude on advance questions raised to host. Very good warm apartment which was a big plus to be cosy after a cold day out. We would return despite some difficulties.

− Disrepair of some kitchen units and shower. No matching glasses for wine. Bed too small for a double and too low for us. Had to sofa sleep x1 and 1 in Bed. Light pollution is a problem in the bedroom as locked doors to other areas have 24/7 lights on that shine through door jam. Noisy neighbours early start above, may be just a rental too - just bad luck if so. Steep steps down to basement are difficult with luggage, so just be wary.

Spacious one bedroom at a great location near Paddington Station.

Location was very good. Close to Paddington station and bayswater. Kitchen was well equipped and there is a washing machine. Apartment was spacious.

− Shower water pressure was low. Bed was a bit soft. It is a basement unit and the stairs down is steep.
