An absolute gem in Pompei! One of our best stays in Italy.

   We stayed at Domus Annae B&B for nearly two weeks, and it was hands down one of the best accommodation experiences we’ve ever had in Italy! We were a group of three. Two of us stayed in the larger apartment, which was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped (having our own washing machine was extremely convenient for a longer stay!). We also had access to a lovely shared outdoor terrace. Our third companion (an elderly traveler) was originally booked into an upstairs room. After his first night, the wonderful host, Rosaria, thoughtfully offered to move him to apartment on the ground floor to make his stay easier and more comfortable. This level of care and hospitality is rare and meant the world to us! A few other details that made our 2-week stay perfect: Comfort & Security: If you have any worries about safety, the property features a locking outer gate as well as secure double doors. One of the doors has built-in mosquito netting—as long as you keep it closed, you can enjoy the fresh air without any pesky bugs disturbing your peace inside! Air Conditioning: It was incredibly hot during our stay, and the air conditioning in the apartments was an absolute lifesaver! It worked perfectly and kept us cool and comfortable. The Shower: Hot water and water pressure were absolutely on point! We’ve found this can sometimes be a hit-or-miss issue in Italy, but it was flawless here. The Location: It’s in a relatively quiet area. You get a little bit of passing traffic noise, of course, but it never once disturbed our sleep. The Vibe: While we stayed long-term, we saw many guests coming and going for just a few nights—it’s clearly a very popular and highly-rated spot for a reason. Rosaria is an exceptional host, and the property is fantastic. We cannot recommend Domus Annae highly enough!  

− Everything was great,long review,since I have put down the points which I think we're important for me when I try to find the right accommodation. The Pompeii ruins are only about a 10-minute walk away, depending on which entrance you use. There are a few restaurants within a short walking distance, a corner shop down the road, and both a supermarket and a shopping center just 5 minutes away (though walking times will depend on your pace and the heat outside!).

Great host, good location, very comfortable

The host, Rosaria, was very responsive on Whatsapp and it was very easy to communicate with her about anything. She was very friendly and super-helpful with any sort of questions. The B&B was very clean in the tiniest details and I found it a great location for visiting the Pompei archeological park entering from the Anphiteatre gate, just 12-14 minutes' walk away. The train station Pompei Santuario was also nearby, approx. 15 mins on foot and from there we were able to take the ciurcumvesuviana train to also visit Ercolano.

− Nothing in itself with the B&B as I thought everything was great. Just an FYI that the trains that stop at the Pompei Santuario do not go to Sorrento so this requires to take a train for few stops then change at Torre Annunziata to take another train. This matters only if you are planning to see Pompei then Sorrento, otherwise it won't make any difference.

Beautiful, clean and spacious room; a walking distance to one entrance of the ruins; there are places to eat nearby. The kitchen had all the necessary items. The bathroom was also spacious, great showers. Quiet at night, I could sleep really well.

− The only small issue was the unstable wifi connection, with weak signaling.
