10.0Wonderful hosts Lars and Karin. Very eager to help us with anything. The appartement (both of them) with a view over the river valley. Outside is a couple of benches and a table. If needed there is a grill at your disposal, also a drying cabinet in case of wet clothing. Inside you won't miss anything, even a washingmachine. We were offered to use their canoe. Lars drove us 10 kms up the river and promised to pick us up again at arrival, and he did. We loved wandering at top plateau at the top of LIndvallen (there are two lifts open during the summer). It is however possible to walk uphill as we did since the climb is 'only' approx. 250m vertical. We wanted to visit the other tops nearby, but ended up crossing the border and driving to Trysil in Norway 1 hours drive, some 70-ish kms away. Free parking during summer both in the Sälen-area and Trysil (but you need to register at the parking app 'Aimo' ). At Trysil there are two lifts going near the top. Very popular for mountainbike trails downhill. It is worth walking the last bit up to the 'peak' and having the grand view 360 degrees. Very popular for mountainbike trails downhill. − Svårt att laga mat i det lilla pentryt med bara två plattor då stekpanna och kastrull inte fick plats samtidigt. Funkar bra för frukost. Sängarna var väldigt mjuka.
