10.0Mario met us as we were parking and gave us a tour, information, and recommendations. The welcome basket was terrific. After a long day of travel from the US (23 hours), Mario had provided various drinks and snacks that could easily provide for the evening and morning. Through his generosity we were able to immediately drop everything, open a bottle of wine, create a delicious plate of appetizers, and enjoy the terrace with its incredible view of the ocean. Hospitality at its finest. The location/view is fabulous with beach, restaurants and grocery shops just steps away. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Communication (texting) was almost instantaneous. Neighbors were friendly. Parking was right outside our door. Very private and safe feeling. Of the 4 places we stayed during our 2 week trip, this home was the most welcoming and comfortable. Thank you, Mario.

10.0Eine super schöne Wohnung mit voller Ausstattung in einer ruhigen Gegend. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat eine tolle Lage mit direkten Blick aufs Meer. Wir wurden sehr liebevoll empfangen und in der Küche gab es sogar ein paar Leckereien zum Empfang. Zudem war die Küche mit allem sehr gut bestückt, was nicht üblich ist. Für Kinder gibt es zudem jede Menge Spielzeug sodass der TV ausbleiben kann ;-). Parken war auch problemlos möglich, nur am Wochenende kann es schon mal etwas schwieriger sein. Unterhalb der Wohnung ist ein Restaurant und eine Bar, da diese aber bei Tagestouristen beliebt ist, ist es recht teuer dort. In der Umgebung kann man einiges erkunden und es gibt auch schöne Strände in der Umgebung. Allerdings ist ein Auto von vorteil auch wenn die Bushaltestelle nur ein paar Meter entfernt ist. Nach Sintra ist es auch nicht weit, für den Fall man möchte sich das grosse Touristenprogramm verpassen. Vom Nachbarort aus kann man sogar mit der historischen Bahn dort hin fahren.
