Excellent location and a great apartment and host. It is a beautiful building so lots of people stop outside the window for photos, but you can keep your privacy by the lovely curtains and shutters.

The host was amazing, the location was great, the beds were comfy and the apartment was cool temperature-wise. I’d be happy to come back!

− It’s on the ground floor so you sometimes see people pass the windows but it’s hardly a big deal and you’re rarely in the apartment during the day anyway.

We enjoyed our stay, kind host, great location and clean unit.

Location was perfect for exploring Cascais, a block from the beach. Lots of places to eat and get groceries all within blocks. Our host was friendly and welcoming. He was there to let us in and took us for a short neighbourhood walk to orientate us and recommended places to eat and things to see. Unit was clean and had all the basics in the kitchen.

− The unit is on the street level and many people stop to take pictures of the building and look right into our windows (too see what is inside!)...not private at all and a bit unsettling. Windows do not have ability to be left in a "safe open" locked state to allow air flow...either open or closed and no safety bars. Not safe to even crack open at night or day. Beds were too hard for us.

4 night stay in Lovely central studio near beach

Very comfortable bed, very convient location to beach, restaurants/bars. The owner Duarte was always available to help or advise. He showed us where to eat when we arrived late tired and hungry. The studio is big and modern.

− Small privacy issue with tourists outside taking photos, on ground floor so passers by can see in with windows open. Ventilation is a small issue.
