Beautiful apartment, but we not allowed to use the large deck with a view due to renovation.
8.0The location was great - close to restaurants, waterfront, etc. Convenient, free, safe parking. Good instructions of how to get into building & apartment. Loved having a washing machine and fridge! The apartment was spacious & comfortable. Great wifi. The pool was refreshing.
− The day we arrived, the hosts told us we couldn't use the large deck with a view of the ocean - which is one of the main reasons why we chose this apartment - because of renovations of the exterior of the building. According to the notices in the elevators, the renovations had been going on for months and would continue to take months to complete. Also ... there was a total renovation happening in the apartment next door, so a lot of noise throughout the day. We felt the hosts should have informed us of these situations. We would probably have chosen a different accommodation because of this.

Great appartment but constructions with loud noices

− Nog geen 24 uur voor aankomst kregen we te horen dat er aan de buitenkant van het gebouw renovatie plaatsvond waardoor het balkon o.a. niet te gebruiken was. Bij aankomst bleek dat in het appartement ernaast ook werkzaamheden gedaan werden. Hierdoor was het onmogelijk om overdag in het appartement aanwezig te zijn omdat de geluidsoverlast aanzienlijk was.

7.0− Nous avons été informés le jour même de notre arrivée que le balcon n’était pas accessible en raison de travaux. L’hôte le savait depuis un moment puisque l’ensemble du bâtiment était déjà entouré d’échafaudages. Cette information aurait dû être communiquée bien en amont, d’autant plus que nous avions choisi ce logement précisément pour profiter de l’extérieur. Se retrouver mis devant le fait accompli le jour J est très décevant. Nous regrettons donc autant l’absence d’accès au balcon que le manque de transparence sur ce point essentiel.
