Please be aware of the situation with building works and noise and dust

− **Be aware- do not book!!** Horrible experience, ruined holiday and dishonest host. Our holiday was completely ruined for the last 2.5 days of our stay due to major building construction work on the lower level. -Extreme disruption:The entire communal floor tiles area were being drilled up and replaced on the lower level. The noise was incredibly loud and the apartment was physically vibrating. The noise was so loud that you couldn’t hear the tv properly and sounded as if it was coming from right outside the apartment door. -Pool unusable: Dust from the drilling was everywhere. It created a thick layer of muck on the pool surface making it unusable. -No privacy or peace: The workmen took their breaks around the pool. Even if you tried to sit there the drilling noises were deafening. -Dishonest host: The owner was completely unhelpful. she lied and claimed she had no idea the work was happening. Then she said it was only going to be for a couple of hours. However, the building manager confirmed all the building owners were notified an along time ago with multiple reminders and have in fact also paid for this work. And when telling us it was only a couple of hours she was being told it was all day -Insulting solution: When we complained, the owner simply told us “we should go out all day and the beach is nicer than the swimming pool anyway” instead of enjoying the accommodation we paid for. We have 2 children and the beach is unpatrolled in the week -Zero communication - we escalated this to Booking.com and the owner is ignoring their messages. Booking.com have said the owner is responsible for refund, but the owner said they are responsible and there is nothing she can do. Please be aware this is major work and is taking place in stages so will be on -going for the foreseeable!.

Great location. Great accomodation
10.0Great location. 2 min walk to the beach. Surf club was about a minute walk. Kawana shopping World directly over the back with shops and eateries. Well equipped apartment with everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Our host Geraldine was excellent and very accomodating.

10.0So many good things to say …… The size of the accommodation, the view from the balcony, the facilities, all excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone staying in Buddina. Greats hosts, Geraldine was friendly, informative and quick to respond to any queries we had.
