Clean and spacious. Well equipped. Quiet location. Quick response to queries. Comfy big beds. Great showers and nice to have washing machine and dryer. Close to river for a little fresh air stroll in morning.

− a few cobwebs in corners. Would have liked a bigger dining table so we could sit round together but recognise that probably not possible to configure that in the room layout

Andy the host was super friendly and helpful. The house was great, well decorated, very comfy beds, and a great location for nipping into the city centre or out to the lakes. Also, parking was really easy for both our groups vehicles.

− The lounge was a little small for the 7 of us, but we know that this is being super picky.

Comfortable Stay in a great location

We liked the spacious bedrooms, the use of 2 showers with shower gel and shampoo provided. The heating was just right. The facilities were easy to use and the cleanliness was fab. Cleaning equipment provided with liquids was useful too. We didn't find the parking a problem whilst we were there, always had a space for on street parking outside the house.

− The livingroom space is a little small for the number of guests., the couch and table need replacing as also not enough seating. The oven only has 1 shelf so we used the baking tray as another shelf, a few more pans and frying pans would help.

The property was lovely and warm on arrival and parking was easy. It was lovely that tea and coffee was provided. It was in a good location to walk to pub etc. Great sized bedrooms and modern bathrooms.

− We did feel that for the amount of people it holds the kitchen was not stocked well enough with pans and other utensils. We struggled with 6 of us -adults - to cook a Christmas dinner. (It hold 8 people) Saucepans far too small, one oven shelf, very small dinner plates. Also a dishwasher would have been welcome - we knew there wasn’t one but there is space for it. Also the dining table is not big enough to fit all the dinners and drinks on for 6-8 people. We had to set up another one in the room. If you stay there and eat out I am sure it would be fine but with no cheese grater to make a simple pasta dish or utensils to fry an egg easily it’s a struggle to self cater.
