A prefect retreat with a perfect location
10.0I needed somewhere to stay after completing the sale of my late parents house nearby. This was perfect. Good value, nice views of the town and a little home from home where I could relax for a few days after being so busy before I needed to return to my own home. The owner Darren was super helpful and was kindly able to let me do a late check out and leave my car for even a little longer while I popped into town. Having the undercover car port was great too, not least that the weather was so hot the car was always lovely and cool. I’ll definitely stay again.
− Nothing
Great location and parking. Some things not so good.
6.0Great quiet location within east reach of town centre. Parking available for motorbike in the garage. Clear instructions from host. Clean apartment.
− Shower was woeful. Needs the thermostat changing or just replacing. Was burning hot or freezing cold, nothing in between.. I don’t need a hundreds of instructions about where to put individual waste. I’m on holiday and paying for it ffs! If you’re that concerned about everything going into the appropriate container or bag or whatever then why don’t you just provide a segregated dustbin to do that! Another pound shop pots and pans pad.. Invest in some stainless at least. Not everyone wants to cook in cheap toxic cookware.
Beautiful, clean and perfectly equipped retreat.
10.0The property was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in except for my own. It is perfect for a couple.
− The only downside to the property is the external staircase access. Which is very steep and 2 flights. It is however well worth it.
Very lovely…. Hope to be back shortly for more walking round old home sites.
10.0Very clean, warm and surprisingly quiet.
− The entry & exit up the steep “ fire escape“ type stairs. Hard work with luggage at 70+ But it did provide magnificent views over the church & church yard. And beautiful sunsets!

We were visiting family nearby and we also took a few walks around Penrith. Really enjoyable including lunch in the loca
