Do not book! Has listing on multiple sites and were informed this has happened numerous times before.

− Accomodation was double booked leaving us stranded with the kids. When we arrived there were already people occupying the property. The owners contact number off booking.com was disconnected. Took us over 30 minutes on the side of the road to get in contact with the owner who advised us this has happened before. Absolutely appalling efforts by booking.com to find alternative accommodation leaving us to find our own after being stranded for an hour and a half.

− I booked this place approximately 8 months ago before bad reviews started cropping up. There is a reason for all the bad reviews. The booking was confirmed by Booking.com but I had no communication from the host. Worse on the day of check in - still no info about how to check in despite my messages. I rang the number provided by Booking.com only to find it was disconnected. By this time it was 30mins to check in. I rang Booking.com who have a policy that they give the host 45mins to reply before cancelling the booking. By the time this happened, our family was exhausted and at 4pm, booking.com emailed (did not call) to say it was cancelled and to give us options to relocate. None of the option suited so I had to ring for a full refund instead. Not only is this place no longer bookable but booking.com is enabling them to continue despite bad reviews and my insistence to the phone operators on booking.com that this listing should be removed. No one has listened to me so do yourself a favour and do not book and do not trust booking.com to help you out if you end up not being able to even get into the accommodation!

Good location and was very spacious

− The “host” heather is deceased, there is a plaque in the house from the police force honouring her. Is very strange to be getting messages signed off by “Heather” We requested a cot and one was provided but it was placed in a walk in cupboard and could not be moved out of the cupboard. Felt very uneasy having my baby sleep in a cupboard away from me. Would have preferred it to be in the bedroom near the bed rather than in a cupboard. The house was not clean at all, mould around sinks, exhaust fan in bathroom caked in dust, dishwasher was full of dishes on arrival. The washing machine had wet washing in it and the drier was also full of washing. The bedding on the beds didn’t look clean and didn’t even fit or stay on the beds. One of the bedrooms cupboard is full of someone’s belonging as well as the garage has a motorbike and other stuff stored there. Felt a bit uneasy and felt as though someone might come at any time wanting to get to their stuff. no smoke alarms. There were cat/dog bowls outside in the courtyard area and cat and dog food in the laundry cupboards.

− I had a very poor experience with this property. Despite having a confirmed booking, the host was completely unresponsive to my texts leading up to the stay. When we arrived, we discovered the property was already occupied by someone else. We were forced to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, which was a huge inconvenience. I would not recommend booking here if you are looking for a reliable stay.

− Property appears to be inadequately managed - serious issues We experienced significant problems during our stay that suggest this property is not being properly managed or maintained. The listed contact "Heather" appears to be deceased (we found a funeral brochure in the garage), and her personal belongings and car remain throughout the property. Communication was only through automated messages, and Booking.com confirmed they were unable to contact the owner. It appears the property may be managed by family members who have not properly prepared it for guests. Notably, reviews were excellent until around the time of her passing, after which standards clearly declined. Major issues included: - No towels provided despite being listed as included - we couldn't shower on arrival - No smoke detector (serious safety concern) - No hand soap or adequate toilet paper - Only 2 mugs and 2 glasses for 4 guests - Missing light bulbs throughout - The whole place was filthy - dirty floors, cobwebs, sticky surfaces, dirt and grim on walls and light switches - Personal belongings in cupboards and the garage We are requesting a full refund for this nightmare. DO NOT BOOK!

We liked the quiet location, washing machine & dryer, cot, bath & shower with great pressure

− -No BBQ even though it is listed & shown in photos -No response from host to questions I had but received an auto-generated email to welcome us & ask if we're enjoying the bottle of wine that we didn't get -Cleaner didn't clean floors our daughters hands/feet were black from crawling from when we arrived, only left one roll of toilet paper for 3 nights -The hosts clothes & belongings are in the wardrobe makes it feel like you're house sitting -Property not maintained, especially outside it's like the hosts have given up not sure what's happened
