8.0Super location at the main entrance to Warwick Castle, and convenient for much of the rest of the city. Parking was fine. Excellent facilities in the Potting Shed. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Lovely environment/decor.
− Slightly odd reaction of our host in response to a request to understand how to turn the heating up a bit. Appeared irritated that we had tried ourselves to manage the heating system, and almost immediately offered to try to find somewhere else for us to stay. A first for us! We weren't tempted by his offer - largely on the basis that the place was lovely (if slightly on the cool side at the time) and that we didn't anticipate spending any more time in his company. His wife is lovely, charming, and quite what one would expect. But we didn't experience her contribution until check-out time.
