− We decided not to stay, although our payment for six nights was not refundable. The main issue that concerned us was that the studio was advertised as having a washing machine, which was the only reason that I chose it among many other options in central Lausanne. There was no washing machine. The concierge advised us that only long term residents would be granted access to the laundry facilities, which required a special card which we could not have. He advised instead that we should travel to a laundromat. There were no smoke alarms, which I am very surprised are not compulsory in rental accommodation in Switzerland. Moreover, we were told there was an electrical point we should not plug the television into, the furnishings and the linen were sparse and the roadworks going on all around the district made access for taxis difficult, we decided that it was better to look elsewhere, in spite of the loss. Given that the description of the studio included false representations and expressed concerns were met with rationalisation and deflection of blame onto the concierge's assumptions regarding 'couple conflict', It was also difficult to find somewhere else to stay in Lausanne for that six day period at short notice, but we were there for a conference and needed something more comfortable and convenient. We ended up having to spend well over our budget. I regretted not making a more upmarket selection in the first place. I recommend steering clear of this place. It must, however, be born in mind that this part of Switzerland is one of the most expensive places in the world to stay and therefore the rate charged is quite competitive, provided you are prepared to put up with the problems I have described.

The studio has everything to be a lovely and cozy experience, but is badly managed.

Nicely located, quiet building with easy check in. You can find public parking outside.

− Dont wait to much about furniture, the bed seems quite old and isn’t comfortable at all. the “space” with tv has only place for one, so if you are going with someone you can change places once in a while. they should try to explain how to connect Tv. because has its own particular way. Also the fridge wasn’t closing right, so the owner came and at first, implied that was us. After said that was already like that. the communication was a bit awkward and frankly uncomfortable.
