− The property was advertised as having 24 hour front desk and secure parking. This is not correct. It is a locked apartment building on a busy street and you have to summon someone by mobile phone who takes 15 minutes to arrive. We were told the booked apartment was not available due to a problem with the bathroom. We were taken to another apartment a few blocks away. I had booked a 2 bedroom apartment and was shown a 1 bedroom apartment and told one of us could sleep on the sofa. When this was not acceptable we were offered a second apartment, but his was not the plan when we were travelling together. It took 2 and a half hours to sort our accommodation and some secure parking for our hire car, so our evening had completely gone. I have no idea whether the apartment advertised on Booking.com even exists. Our host had plenty of time to inform us of the problems and arrange suitable alternative accommodation before our arrival but all these arrangements were made after we tried to check in. The host did agree to a small reduction in the price as compensation but this did not make up for the hassle and the destroyed evening
