− The bedding was far to warm. Could do with some summer bedding and maybe a thicker mattress. The sofa was quite uncomfortable and was well worn in..
Great Value for Money Cool, Cosy Flat
7.0Cosy flat in a super quiet spot just above Moness Burn in Aberfeldy. Despite that, it's central and the town and all its sights reachable easily on foot. Great value for money. The gurgle of the river is so soothing to relax and fall asleep to. There's technically a really cute café right around the corner, and the Birks of Aberfeldy are just upstream across the road. The shady, sheltered location also means the apartment stays pleasantly cool even at the height of summer. Parking is right in front of the entrance, which is extremely practical.
− Just a few small things; the heated towel rack could only be switched off via fuse (at least it has its own separate one), which seems really unsafe. The windows especially at the back felt like no one had opened them for years, and some mosquito netting would be fab considering the location near the water. There's also something wrong with the TV, which turns on, but doesn't actually let you watch anything.
