Great location for the Traws Eryri and exceeded my expectations.
10.0Great cooking and washing facilities. Nice to see the host's personality reflected in the decor. I'm not a motorcyclist but the others guests were friendly and welcoming. Also a great location if wanting to ride the (MTB) trails as Coed Y Brenin. I've no doubt I'll be back with my son next Summer.
− The door on my camping pod didn't really close very well. Could do with a bit of attention, but was not really an issue on a warm night.

Wunderschoene Lage, toll ausgestatteter Campingpod
10.0Phantastische Lage etwas ausserhalb von Dolgellau. Ca 15 min zu Fuss in die Stadt, ca. 10 min in die andere Richtung zu einer Badestelle am selbst nach wochenlanger Hitze noch erfrischenden Mawddach, und weitere 20 Minuten zum einsamen Bergsee Llyn Tan-y-Graig. Ich war im Camping-Pod "The Cowshed", den ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen wuerde, weil er sich ganz am Ende des grosszuegigen Platzes findet und noch einmal Ausblicke auf die Berge um den Cader Idris bietet, die man so von den weiter unten gelegenen Stellen nicht hat. Der Pod war sehr gut ausgestattet, auch mit Gartenmoebeln davor, und innen sehr praktisch eingerichtet mit ausreichend Haken und Stauraum unter und neben den Betten. Eine Thermoskanne, mit der man Wasser im Pod vorraetig halten kannk wird gestellt. Die USB-Steckdose zum Handyaufladen ueber Solarzellen hat viel besser funktioniert, als ich gedacht hatte und mein Telefon problemlos aufgeladen. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Im Gemeinschaftshaus (ganz am anderen Ende des Platzes) gibt es saubere Duschen und eine super ausgestattete Kueche, in der in der Gefriertruhe und im Kuehlschrank auch Fertiggerichte und Getraenke (auch Bier) bereitstehen, die man in einer Kasse des Vertrauens bezahlen kann.
