The location was excellent. So close to the town centre. The accommodation had everything you needed and more! We liked it that much we have booked it again.

Basement apartment central to Harrogate centre

Lovely apartment right in walking distance of the main attractions in Harrogate. Appreciated the coffee machine in the apartment and nice toiletries. Place was very tastefully decorated and very relaxing for our one night stay before we moved on further on our trip

− We had no problems with the car parking space and the garage owner did point out the need to move our car over as other occupants of the building use other spaces too on the rear wall. If you were using the apartment as a base and driving off each day it may be more problematic where the small area at the back of the property is used by the garage during the day. But I wouldn’t let that put you off.

− Outside appearance was poor - unusable outside table and chairs because they were dirty and covered in algae; parking area was more suited to 2 cars than 3, I have a small size saloon and it was almost impossible to park, then access/egress was difficult trying to squeeze past my car. Generally looked like a run-down area. Inside was better, we thought it had been tastefully renovated for its price point, but the smell of damp was overwhelming, and the bed sheets even felt damp. If we had paid more, we felt we would have had to make a complaint.
