Didn’t get to stay here because our stay was cancelled at very short notice.
1.0Pictures and reviews all looked very positive and although there was a problem with a double booking, they sent a message on the day to advise that they had made alternative arrangements and who to contact. It all seemed very clear and I was happy with the alternative accommodation. Communication originally was good.
− Unfortunately, I can’t comment on the apartment itself as our booking was cancelled a short while later via text message when we were already in Lancaster. The host said that they had asked for Booking.com to refund me, but it still meant that we were left with nowhere to stay that night. Making alternative arrangements was awkward, inconvenient, time-consuming, and upsetting. I had wanted to have a sea front location but we ended up in a mid town budget hotel as I didn’t know when the refund would arrive. In the end, however, the refund was dealt with efficiently and politely by Booking.com who also offered to pay for any extra expenses that we had incurred.

10.0The size and location of the apartment. Beautifully decorated and Christmassy and also the nice little extras i.e. Christmas crackers and mince pies as a welcome gift left on the table
− ABSOLUTELY MINOR I must emphasise! Had minor difficulty accessing the Freeview channels via the Talk-Talk box. The host responded very quickly with suggestion to access the channels
Superb relaxed Christmas getaway
9.0We have stayed here many times, but this was the first time staying a week. The apartment is always clean and tidy, and at Christmas time, Michelle decorates the living space with a tree and festive cushions. everything you need is there for a superb stay. very cosy and warm with great views of Morecambe bay from the balcony, even thought the apartment in next to a busy pub, there is no noise whatsoever... must mention the craft beer place below the apartment, The Embargo, always good beer and with it being so close very handy to have a few drinks
