− Felling trees and lopping trees limbs, and turning them into wood chips was very noisy and was due to keep operating for our stay. It negated our use of facilities ie pool, spa, leisure deck. In essence our ' resort' stay was reduced to just a bed to sleep in.

Highly recommend staying at Unit 12, Reef Retreat.
9.0Unit 12 was very clean, comfortable and well equipped for our 9 night stay in Palm Cove. Location was excellent being only a short 3 minute stroll to the beach and restaurants. The communication with Fabian the manager of this unit was very professional and friendly- always prompt responses with detailed information. Loved the rainforest setting- felt like we were living in a treehouse. The private balcony made for a perfect setting to enjoy pre dinner drinks!
