4.0The resort that this property is in is beautiful. And the location can’t be beat. The fact you get an undercover car park too is great.
− I think calling this listing a “luxury penthouse” may be a bit misleading as the property as others have also noted is a little “tired”. Firstly the apartment is on the third/fourth floor and there is no lift- we had a 76year old and baby in a pram that this information would have been good to know when booking if it could be highlighted a bit more- we had to lug prams and suitcases up which was difficult. The air conditioning was broken and for the first 3 days of our trip we had only the fans to cool the apartment. We requested early check-in which was confirmed in the app but then not followed on the day and we had a car of groceries and a sleeping baby that we had to just wait around. The host/cleaner was nice to let us in to drop our bags early but it was still being cleaned. The bathroom doors in the main bedroom do not close (despite having a lock on them) there is a few inches gap between them, the external sliding doors also get stuck and require a bit of strength to use. We were supposed to have 2 key fobs but due to previous guest (acknowledging this is not the host fault) loosing a key we only had the 1 meaning we had to move around as a group until the cleaner could give us a spare fob a couple days in to the stay. There’s marks and scratches on the wall, chips in the counter top near the stovetop, and no pantry storage.
